What sizes of square tubing did you use, and was there any trouble getting them to sleeve/telescope together?

You must have a large stove to burn big oak splits like that. My 13-NC stove gets choked up with pieces that big. I'm burning white oak now, and its good stuff. However, it doesn't produce much in the way of coals for the next morning, like white ash does.

The chain will be .404 pitch. Should I run a semi-skip, full skip, or full chisel chain on the 051 for an Alaskan mill setup with a 36-inch bar (absolute max wood width of 30 inch)?

I ground it back over 4 passes on each side. Started with 20 degrees, then on the last 2 went to 30 degrees. It seems good now, but will still become a backup chain. I was careful not to lean on any given portion for more than a second or so. Lots of taps and small cuts to keep it from...
