looking for advice on an old home made splitter

The pressure hoses, from the pump to the valve, to the piston, are just made of stiffer material than the return hose. Note the clamps on the return hose and the low pressure hose from the tank to the pump.

husky cuts 2-3" sideways, then binds

Put up pictures of the whole saw. Pictures of it ready to cut. Then take the bar off, and post pictures of the pieces. Pictures that show the whole piece, not closeups, but the whole piece. This includes the power head, especially the side where the bar attaches. It also includes the piece...

Need help with central boiler system

Check the temperature on each pipe at the valve. Do you have an IR thermometer? Seems like the valve is probably bad. Central has rebuild kits for some of their valves, but I don’t know about that one.

Need help with central boiler system

Need to know how it is piped. Just having a part number doesn’t help. Does it look like this? https://centralboiler.com/media/2631/install-central-boiler-standard-heat-pump-c240.pdf

My friend borrowed my Echo CS-590 Timberwolf saw and it now doesn't work.

https://youtu.be/49Y8LWreDyA You will need to have a beer for this method.

    Socket organization

I like the loose fit peg style for bench top or cabinet. Easy off easy on. They don’t need to snap in. Cary box or bag, or a set you want to grab and go with a ratchet is different.

Farmertec G888 price; Will it fall

Oh, sorry, my comments are aimed at the parts kit, not the assembled saw.

Farmertec G888 price; Will it fall

But don’t hold your breath, it may be a very long time. I might be interested in one, but more like half the price they are asking, given that you will likely need a lot of OEM parts to make it work. I’ll wait till the price comes down, and someone else figures out which parts are no good.

Farmertec G888 price; Will it fall

Don’t buy the first one. Wait till they fix all the crap parts that don’t fit or don’t work.

    need a electronic expert,

My vote is for a loose internal connection. Flexing it while removing allowed the circuit to re-connect. How big is it? Next time it fails check for an open circuit on the inputs and outputs. Or put an ohmmeter on it and slap it around a bit.

You all seem to think that the home improvement retailers are incapable of increasing their margins.

    Moving trunks advice

I think you would be fine with a 60 Hp ag tractor with a 1 ton loader and an add on grapple. No more than you will be using it.
