One of the pictures gives more-or-less a top down view of the muffler - the top is flat which makes me think someone has just rounded the stock 70e outlet.

The bit where the pinch bolt for the handle should be is broken off. Whatever did that probably wrecked the original top handle and they used a Jonsereds 80 handle to replace it. Let me know the part number and I'll make enquiries. I have already passed on a "few" part numbers for them to look for but I'm not holding out a lot of hope as they commented about having cherry picked larger NOS parts and that makes me think that they overlooked a lot of the "smalls".

Exactly why I switch saws to rim sprockets!! Might have had to skip out of the way of an odd chain or two over the years... :)

Some years ago I was told that there is less power lost from a spur than a rim sprocket and that they were a better option on big saws with loads of torque...
