    Looking to buy a new saw

    I was in the same predicament last year i had a ms 250 for a while and it was a decent saw i wanted to go bigger thats when i joind arborist site and got lots of great help... in the end i went with the ms 261c-m and i love it ive cut about 3 cords this year its probably my favorite saw ive used...

    I had a ms 250 for 15 years that replaced my old pioneer 1420 and that saw worked well for me it was lighter than the old pioneer and started well and all the time for me.. i just upgraded to a new ms261c-M and wow night and day. I have ran a few other saws and I'd have to say power and weight...

    The problem with using a grinder u are exposed to wheel wear so after a few grinds the wheel will wear different... not huge but will make a difference.     The only reason why I quit using the saw is The Recoil lugs skip once in awhile parts were hard to find for it it turned over quite well but I pulled the recoil out LOL got to rewind it and see if it'll fire not really looking to sell it just trying to see if value that's all or any information...

    Hi hope this helps when i was first looking at saws i went to a big box store... heard from someone that was there for warranty with a saw the sales person was giving them a list of dealers to bring it to to get repaired... they just make a sale if u buy from a dealer they will just take care of...

    Whats best small gas splitter 4 the money?

    If you are handy and can stumble across one that is in need of repair thats the way to go however can get somewhat pricey i found an old splitter in peices got a motor pump and cylinder and made my own running gear have to paint in the spring It can be a pain tho lol..
