    Worst chainsaw ever made?

Not at all. That was 14 years ago. I was 20 years old and needed some money. Went to town, bought a saw, maul, and went to work. After that year my dad gifted me a MS 270 to continue and I never looked back! I still have it. Now I just cut wood for my house and my parents house. And enjoy every...

    Worst chainsaw ever made?

Poulan wild thing. I had 3 within a year. Walmart had a good exchange policy back then. They all just lost compression. I was trying to cut firewood with them for money while going through college. Probably used them for more than they were intended for in their defense Sent from my iPhone...

I’m pretty much about like you. My wife could care to hear about my chainsaws and I really don’t have any buddies that have any interest in them. This forum helps me out with that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tuning Chainsaw: Wireless Tach vs. Tach With Wires

I’m in the same situation. I do not do this for a living. I just tune my own saws. I bought the $19 tach on eBay. You wrap it about 5 times around the plug wire. Works great! The one I got has a memory that will keep the peak RPM until you clear it. The wireless is sweet though. I just couldn’t...

    Hard to pull start MS250?

Hard to believe that stihl #1 seller has this problem. I got a feeling there’s something being missed on diagnosing the problem. That’s really nice of you to sell it off to someone else so they can have the problem... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Stihl 461 R crazy for homeowner saw ?

I only cut firewood for my house and my parents. I will never regret buying my 461. It’s a huge step up from my previous ms310. Mine wears a 20” most of the time. It came with a 25” bar. I have plans to soon buy a 32” with a skip chain for the occasional need. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Stihl 461 0r 462

I’m truly just a firewood cutter with a huge interest in chainsaws. I’ve bought, sold and traded many saws over the years. Last year I bought the last 461 my dealer had. Very pleased with the saws performance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    trail clearing saw

After you get the trail cut in, you’ll want a hedge trimmer to keep it clean and open. I maintain a lot of MTB trail and use the hedge trimmer more than anything else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
