    Playing with the fuel pump side ain't a carb rebuild, remove it and go through it correctly......... New fuel line and filter too. All of that crud is still in your carb, go through it correctly.

    Seriously, give a side shot of the crank with the bearing off. If you cannot get the bearing off easily, well then, there you go.............

    Looking at your pic again, the crank end and the bearing look extremely rough..... Pull the bearing off and take some pics of both!!!!

    Remove the carb and rebuild/go through it correctly.

    Well, top, if the saw was turned upright.

    Looks like your brake band is too close on the bottom and in the way.
