    Wood splitter recommendations

I bought one in the spring. It came in pieces and you have to put it totally together. Took a couple of hours. I love it. I just bought the 22 ton model and it has done great. I love the out feed table and of course the log lift. Best $2200 I’ve spent. Mine has the Chonda Raven motor it starts...

    Gorillabac log loader

I bought one and used it. It truly is easy on the back. It is a little slow. I inherited a bobcat with a grapple so the gorillabac has been taking it easy. I will probably sell it if I don't find a use for it soon.

Hardy H4: DHW is only warm!

I have an H2. My domestic hot water goes from the water supply to the hardy. Goes through a coil of 60 feet of copper tubing inside the stove and then to the hot water heater. I use it as a storage tank. There is no pumps at all. It moves just be water pressure. I would double check and...

    Hardy H5 Issue

Sounds like to me you are getting too much air in there. Allowing temps to get high enough to boil out and damage your grates. You may want to check your aquastat. Double check that you damper solenoid chain isn't getting caught on something. At least with mine, where the ashpan connects...

    Craigslist laughs

Free Mulch I have mulch that you can have free. All I want is for the mulch to be spread out in the area of the flower bed between the rocks and you can have the remainder of the mulch for free. If you are interested please email me back. I would guess there is a couple of pickup truck loads...

    Insurance

Most commercial/general liability policies will most likely not cover your product or your work (warranties), however most will cover resulting damage from your product or your work. I would contact your personal insurance and inquire about commercial insurance with them to start. The good...

Help, Stihl MS 029 leaks chain oil as quick as I can put it in it.

I have not tore into it yet. Between the kids and honey dos I have not had a chance, but hope this weekend to get it done and see what I can find.

Thanks for the help. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Help, Stihl MS 029 leaks chain oil as quick as I can put it in it.

I can't tell exactly where it is coming out of sure, but it looks like it is coming out of the bottom. Anyone have a parts diagram?

    I have to fess up.

I hope what I say does not offend anyone but I feel I must fess up. I got caught up in the Fiskars Super Splitter buying frenzy. I got a great deal on it to start with and it does split well, but the problem is, it does not split any better than my Walmart Splitting Maul. I like it and it...

How do you haul your saw and gear on your atv?

I want to thank everyone who contributed to this tread. I have seen a lot of great options. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I would love to see more. Thanks.

How do you haul your saw and gear on your atv?

I like your trailer. Did it come with the atv tires or was that a mod?

Wow, those are some great ideas. Please keep them coming. Thanks.

How do you haul your saw and gear on your atv?

I was wondering how you all carry your gear on your atv. Pics would be appreciated. Yes I am looking for ideas to steal. I need something that can be taken on and off fairly easily. Thanks again AS.

Who here cuts firewood exclusively with vintage saws?

My main gun is a Promac 700. It finally let me down. The bar adjusting nut broke in half. $6.99 for a replacement. Still waiting, hopefully it will be here by the weekend.

They look good. I built some last year and they are still holding up. SEnding some rep your way.

    Woodburning Blog

I was googling the hardy owb and I found your blog. I was impressed. I recognized some of the photos and put two and two together. Good job. We purchased a new house and I am considering a hardy. It seems to be the main brand in my area.

    Kind of off topic: Revolver

I have a blued Taurus 94. I love the nine shot capacity. The trigger pull is heavy, but in single action it is manageable. I have had mine about 9 month and carry it often. I enjoy plinking with it and it is very accurate. I even bought two speed loaders HR-22. I have heard of people...

I upgraded the old wood hauler today.

I bought the truck used and it was on there. I don't recall seeing a name plate on it. If I find one I will let you know. Thanks for the rep.

I upgraded the old wood hauler today.

Well my sd card died last time, so I got another full load of wood. I snapped some pics. It was already dark so the pics are alittle fuzzy. The truck squatted a little but the truck drove perfect.
