Climbing Spur identification

The tag is worn off my old pole spurs, I think they are Klein's but I am not sure, grey and orange?
I have to climb some Ontario white pines and red oaks to cut them down around the cottage, largest diameter maybe 25". Will these pole gaffes suffice or should I get some tree gaffes?
I was thinking about getting a long wire core flip line too but maybe my old pole strap with pizza cutter is all I need?
I am an electrician, not a logger but I like to play one on weekends.
Any advice here would be appreciated!

Those look to be steel Bashlins.
Very different and less common than the popular aluminum Bashlins.

They’d probably work ok for white pine and red oak.

I agree, look like Bashlin, pole gaffs are fine unless you got some thick bark.

Whats this pizza cutter of which you speak? Also get you a flat file, it can be real helpful to get a sharp point on yr spurs.

Probably don't need wire core flip line. But you do need to be tied in twice when working in the tree.

I will get a pic tomorrow. Its a cutter wheel mounted on the back of the pole strap to keep the strap from slipping down if you gaff out.
