Hi,
I moved into a house with overgrown hedges. My neighbor estimates they have not been pruned in over twenty years.
I would like to graft the top ten feet of these towering monsters onto the trunk, and discard everything in the middle.
I can make the pithy wood of the upper section mate with the pithy wood of the trunk and then seal off that junction point.
Can this be done? I have seventy six trees to do.
