Husqvarna 350 Muffler Support Bracket ?

I modified a muffler support bracket from a 353 and put on a 350. Do you think it will melt the case? The bracket had two legs coming down and I cut the right one. I flattened the cut piece and used as a shim under the spike. No,you'll be fine. If they did this from the factory,there would not have been nearly as many issues with the muffler vibrating loose and melting the surrounding case. Adding the bracket is pretty common.

Are those brackets all the same such that you have to bend an offset in the leg to make it fit?
