stihl 042 how to mount the muffler?

Hi,

I sourced a Stihl 042 that was all stripped down in parts. It's one of the early versions one with the old stihl emblem and the first version of the crank. Now I've put it almost all together but I'm stumped with the muffler. The Stihl 048, it's younger brother, has it easy just four bolds. But this one doesn't have a mounting hole for the left underside bold does it need a mounting bracket? The case does have a hole that sits a bit higher? I've looked in the ipl but that didn't make me any wiser. Any help, like a picture how it's mounted is appreciated.

Looks like just 2 bolts to fasten it to the cylinder Looked at my buddy's sitting here and don't see a bracket. I'll tear it apart and get a pic if no one else comes up with an answer for you.

This is a picture of the problem I'm facing, no bold hole on the left bottom side.
