2 wheel barrows to the smoking wood pile 2 3” thick slabs and I wanna make a blank out of my last piece. There’s a big knot in the center tho so maybe it’s not good for a blank?? I’ll get a pic of it up. I’m thinking the square chain is giving me this rough finish. I got some of the best looking firewood in town. Maybe sell it as a washboard for cloth, really tho I was thinking maybe a night stand, I’m going to order up some archer milling chain Monday, hopefully I’ll get a good finish 5D4FF21F-2BAF-44B5-B9B2-8F1A3A2FC1C2.jpeg D6B4D020-332F-4BB4-AAC7-5588362236CC.jpeg7F8BFA40-7881-4129-AC6B-1B68E6723800.jpeg03C01E93-062E-4BA2-AE5B-00EBA7BA9495.jpeg

I like the color on those crotch pieces, would make nice end tables..wonder if that color will be there once they're dried and finished...
Interested in seeing what people contribute thst wakeboarding to....file it away for future reference for when i see it..

It looks to me like you are rocking back and forth every couple inches. I lead with my tip and keep that same angle all the way through. I use out of the box Stihl "Yellow Box" chain. I was planing a couple mantel pieces of Red Oak, and it took 3 passes to take all of the saw marks out. This is a piece of Black Walnut I milled about 5 years ago.
