Two real nice Poulan saws out of my collection. A 245 and a 306. Both are in exceptional shape and both run, oil and idle like they are supposed to. Nothing cracked, broken or stripped. $175 for the 245 and $150 for the 306 plus actual shipping. Local pickup ok and demonstration by appointment. Thanks. Bill

Well, I have one of each already, just wanted to chime in for anyone not familiar with them. Just used my 245 the other day and it eat some elm. This is a 74 cc pro saw, old school, mag all the way, horizontal layout, with both auto and manual oilers. Lightweight (13 lbs and small change, think about it), powerful. If someone needs just an occasional larger saw, will run up to a 27 D176 mount with no sweat, and have also an example of decent old school USA muscle, and a beauty to sit on the shelf when not needed..there ya go.

13 lbs and 74cc, nice!

I need a saw price blue book or something to figure out what's a deal.

Yes it is. It may be sold as well as all of a sudden interest has risen for some reason. So sale pending on that one as well.

It was probably due to my pointing out the SA behind the 245.
I'll PM you my PayPal so you can send me my 10% commission.;)

You're welcome.

No problem.

Thanks for being so understanding, Bill.

So after looking at your 245SA repeatedly, I stopped by one of my local OPE dealers, and what do I see sitting in the "to be repaired" section? A Dayton branded 245SA.........
I mentioned to the shop owner that if the owner of the saw decided to not put the money into the saw, I'd be happy to buy it.

I had the Dayton version in orange, it was my dads. Foolishly I gave it away nearly twenty years ago when it was acting up.

I have a Dayton branded 245SA. It's waiting its turn in line for crank seals and fuel system rehab. Jonathan I hope you end up with that saw. Bring donuts...:D

Ok guys. Waited over two weeks for payment on the 245 so she is still available. Suprised it hasn't sold as she is clean.20150125_085033.jpg
