Red Oak

We have a red oak that is showing rolled up brown tips on the leaves and also is developing little balls (1/2 inch diameter) on the leaves, what is this and what do i do about it?

Are the little balls right on the leaves or by them? The Red Oak produces little acorns on the branches by the leaves. Many times brown tips is too much water or too little water. Is it a newly planted tree? Has it been cold in your area after it bloomed?
