ryobi 8inch electric pole saw uses to much bar and chain oil

ryobi 8inch electric pole saw

i cut one branch half way or more and the saw was 1/2 full or more of oil and i checked it and i filled it up and it used all that oil saw bar and chain got hot wont cut any more

how do i make it use less oil
