Sc252 Vermeer grinder cranking issues

After pressure washing then blowing mostof the water off with an air blower, grinder won't turnover without the gas and hydraulic access lid fully in open position. Could anyone explain why this would happen or have ever had this happen to them?

That's also access to the battery. Might have something to do with your problem, but I din't know how it could.

The on - off safety switch for the cutting wheel has a loose wire I think!
