I currently sub out all my stump work and have for years. However it got me thinking about buying a stump grinder. I dont need a self propelled or larger trailer type as i will still sub out the larger stumps. However id like to be able to do some of the smaller or easier stumps myself. Ive been reading some posts but they are mostly old about the grinders. I guess my main question is what do you recommend and why? I will be using a 2012 case sv250 standard flow machine 23gpm. Ive been looking over the swing type attachments and lately ive been seeing alot of the tire to tire grinders as i would call them. Where the only hydraulic flow runs the cutting wheel itself. Rather than the swing type where hydraulics run the swing and cutter wheel. Im stumped.
