Stihl 441 Problems!

So I get this 441 to work on for a local tree co. The helicoil is stripped out so I get an aftermarket top end and install it. Everything goes together fine. Upon trying to start it.....it will only run pay high speed. The owner said the saw did run (how well I don't know). Is there a reboot or programming sequence for the carb. I did not do a leak down test. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like an air leak but make sure that the strato valve is closing all the way at idle. Here's the m-tronic blurb... it helps to sacrifice a chicken under a pale moonlight.
