That looks like some sort of ornamental cherry not wild black cherry but in either case it burns well. Ornamental is heavier and takes longer to dry out.
It looks like an ornamental Cherry tree.
Cut it, split it and stack it for a year or two.Then it's firewood.
If it's a yard tree beware of nails, etc.

I've burned my share of Black Cherry and it's not bad wood as hardwoods go, but there's longer burning wood.
As premium hardwood firewood goes, I prefer Sugar Maple, White or Burr Oak and Hop Hornbeam (Ironwood).
