We had quite a storm this am, about 5 inches of the wet stuff, blizzard winds and drifts by 1:00, snow about gone by 5 and sunny. I went out to get some wood for the "king" and it made me chuckle when I heard the Rainbird sprinklers all running and I was hauling wood in to feed the fire. I have run the pump all night so that the entire system will not be froze and broke by morning. I will likely have quite a pile of ice around the sprinklers by am. It is 34 right now, supposed to get to about 20ish, wish that I had not put water in the system yet.

Were gettin' yer leftovers now, about an inch so far here in CO.
Actually nothing new when your in the Mtn's.(glad i left the plow on the tractor)
There will be alot of good fat Elm branches breaking for next years heat!

You can bet I'm still burning wood, too. Even into mid June, I'll still build a fire in the evenings.

All we got was a little rain and lots of cold wind. It aint over til its over. When I was a kid, we lost 9 cows in a blizzard one year the first week of May.
