How about some poplar or Basswood, even Cotton wood would safice. Kevin Cut-4-Fun said he'd like to come too, as long as it didn't colide schedules with his Football schedule or a racing event.

Oh I know where there a couple of big tulip aka poplar hard wood but yet real soft great for event like this. Oh they will come in at over 30 in. it will need to be mill not cross cut if anyone knows how? lol

Im in mooresville indiana and the neighbor that lives behind me cut a huge cottonwood down about this time last year. I think he would be glad to give them to you for your gtg. If your not to far i got a F550 with a lift gate i could bring you some pieces.
