This is the very first tank of fuel in the 441. I've got a couple more small thinkgs to do to the 440, but this gives you a good idea.

Ms441

After running my MS261, the first Strato saw I've owned and being overly satisfied (Stihl will sell allot of the 261s) I've decided to get a new MS441 to compliment the 261.

And this thread shows up just in time. Great!

I had no plans to buy this saw, but the deal was too good to turn down. They make a great saw stock or modded. Once again a strato saw comes out as a real good runner. I'm really impressed with the 175 PSI compression with nothing more than a squish adjustment.

Been my experience that the 441 will get faster and faster for about 20 tanks, then level off.

How can you go wrong with either, both look like strong runners. I'd have to take the old 440/460, just like the older design, prolly a little lighter.
The increased vibes with the older saws don't bother me much.
Once again two beast you've created.

I love a 440 too, but there's no use for me to live in the past. That 441 looks just as strong as the 044/46 does. I'm strongly considering one myself. After I finally ran one, I loved the feel of it. The antivibe is just as good as any saw I've ever ran. I know alot on here, including me, love and cherish the 440 as a killer classic. But lets face the music, that 441 will walk the dawg with a 440, and probably even a 460.
