Thats awesome man. Congrats. I hear they are fantastic! Do you have any pics you can post? I would love to see a new 441 up close.

Congats, I heard they run real sweet, keep use posted how it works for you. You got alot of good hi-tech stuff fot only few extra buck. What type of use are you planning for it? Do they still have the extended warranty if you buy a pack of ultra oil for it?

Ported and unported.

But right out of the box the m tronic will run away from the standard. Amazing.

Nope. Sawzilla in Iowa.
There is allot that needs thought through in regards to the electronic package.

Mine came out incredible.

I'm sure it did. I saw the video, ran real good! Did the porting have any effect on starting hot or cold?

Does the CMTronic allow it to rev at the higher RPMs a ported saw turns? I figured they tuned for RPM, which would not work with a ported saw. If this technology properly tunes a ported saw, then that is awesome.

Brad, how may saws in this class turn 13,400 in a cut?

Hold on, now. Until we see this thing in person, or someone we trust with a video, that thing can be ported for all we know, or have a very aggressive chain since it is just spruce there, etc etc. Until someone has one in their hands, it's just conjecture.

You misunderstood my question. I'm not taking about a rev limiter at WOT. I'm talking about whether or not the saw simply tunes to a certain RPM for any given condition. If that were the case, a ported saw would run way too rich, as it will turn more RPMs than a stock saw in any given condition.

Yes, from what I understand, the M-tronic constantly adjusts timing and mixture for peak performance at any throttle position from idle to wot includding part throttle. I would say if ported correctly it would still gain power and speed under load. I don't know if any changes to the electronics were done on Porsches saw. I think there is enough range in the controler to cover the fuel needs.

No I wasn't saying it runs 13,400 in the cut, but that is what the M-tronic runs no load. Non full race saws will reach that rpm under load.
