Snake, aeroplane, helicopter and Colt handgun(?) is what fell into my head when I saw your post........:D

And Ed Brown 1911 pistols (if spelled with a "K"), like this one I had:

But still....it's either Jonsered or Husqvarna that usually wins right?

It mostly is Jonsered now, as the guys still run the 2171 and even the ol' 2071. The saws were made by Husky of course, but they managed to harm their own brand name by introducing the the heavier and clumsier 576xp as their main sponsored saw.....:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange:

One experienced Husky guy chose to use a 357xp though, and placed 5th overall in the latest World WLC - and he would have placed higher if it wasn't for a single miss in the limbing stage. He was one of the more experienced competitors, that have placed high before.

Stihl also have done much better with the MS460 after the 372xp was changed out, but the Dolmar guys mostly stay out of the top 30 with the 7900 - I don't have a clue about the reason.........

This picture sort of cries a couple of messages to Husky from me;

- withdraw the 576xp from the WLC game!

- enter the 560xp into that competition! :msp_smile:

Well, those look cool, regardless if they are what hit my mind (most likely not).

I more or less grew up with "The American Rifleman", "Shooting times", "Guns & Ammo", and "The American Handgunner", but sort of lost interest in the late 1980s.

Colt made a revolver called the King Cobra, which could be it. As for the bob'd 1911's I posted, the first one is an "-ized" pistol, in this case, Rogerized to use the AS vernacular. I wish I'd kept that one for sure. And even that picture was color corrected by none other than Dr. Ken Lunde, President of the Adobe software company and IMO the best handgun photographer on the planet.

Yup, "King Cobra" revolver is what I thought of. I have had a couple of revolvers, but settled for semi-autos at an early stage......:D

Niko, thanks for answering my question. I now remember Jonsered winning it now. The 2171 is a great saw. But my interest lyes in this fellow that came in 5th overall with a 357XP. Isnt the 357 an outboard clutch design? And ditto on the 562! I really like the 576, but the 562 would be much lighter....

...Kinda wished I hadnt saw that darned saw, now I'm trying to track down an embossed sticker of a King Cobra for my XPW........myswell get 2 ......one for the 562 :D

Hmmm where am I gonna put the go baby go package:) Let alone how am I gonna tote the 427 hi riser :hmm3grin2orange:

You guys just got Stihl Magnum envy issues. Wish your Huskys had a cool name dont you?

Es muy molesto cuando la gente escribe en una lengua extranjera.

Algunas personas son naturalmente desconsiderados.
