I've got a buddy of mine's Jred 2165 that seized a lower rod bearing. The cyl diddn't suffer any damage so It will remain 65cc.

I'll be useing a Forester brand crank. So far the quallity of it looks good.

Here's the timing #'s

EX dur 158*
TR dur 120*
IN dur 138*
BD 19*
SQ 0.040"

I'm setting up to cut the squishband & the base right now. :bang:
 
Here's some pics of the squishband cutting.
I took .050" off the band & .050" OFF the skirt the goes down into the case.

Setting up to cut the base .070" to get .020'' squish. After I eat a bite.:cheers:
 
A couple of questions if you don't mind: are you cutting the squish band on an angle and are you leaving a band uncut right at the edge where the wall and combustion chamber meet?
