For it's day and purpose you can't beat an 031AV. There are many more 50cc saws that are lighter, faster and more powerful but for it's day it had a lot of torque and was balanced. It could do a decent job of pulling a 20" bar and they have and still do cut many cords of wood.

200T no question. There's a comparison to any other great saw; 372 vs 440, 394 vs 660 etc... and most of them come down to personal preference. They're pretty close. When it comes to most saws in the 'pro class' I'm not that fussed. I'm a stihl man but I'd run a 346xp any day of the week and not grumble a minute. But 200T vs... what? There's only one! And now there's none.

My personal all time fav is a Mac 10-10. Tough as nails, fairly light, pulls great in the wood, and runs forever. I prefer a 20"b&c with full skip chisel chain. I do like using my 372XPW, but for all around use, got to give it to the Mac.

Of the twenty or so saws I have as runners, the 7900, the 036 and the 026 are the three I use the most, the 394 is awesome too but I just dont come across enough wood to use it frequently. I'd have to say the 7900 is the best for me.

:agree2::agree2: with the wild thing,, with a 36" b/c you can't beat it for bucking oak and hickory:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange:
