Well, its time for another saw. This 395 was actually the very fist saw I ported, it has a 2101 piston, with not too fabulous port work, well its actually not that bad, I never degree'd this saw, so the #s are very conservative, just check it today when I pulled it down. Was just going to redo this cylinder but it had a little funky wear. So I've had this BB kit sitting here for like almost 2 years maybe? It was slated for another 395 in a box that I have, but will have to find another cylinder for that saw.

So here are the stock BB numbers.

EX 101* ATDC
TANS 117* ATDC
INT 75* FTDC
SQUISH .044"

A Holley 750 double pumper... we'd love to see that four to one adapter! But how about a mikuni from a dirt bike. And I was wondering how a stroker would even fit inside of the existing case.
 
It could be detonation since it looks like it doesn't have a combustion chamber any more.

Have you ever read anything on squish velocity? Really with that large squish band you may be looking at flame travel issues and possible detonation from to high of a squish velocity.

How much did you cut out? 0.1"?
