going to get a cart,only problem not sure which cart to get to pull behind my 4wheeler....
a=41"wide by 60" long inside, outside is 58" wide at wheels...basically 3.5' x 5' steel trailer wire mess,12" highway tires....wieghs 250 lbs empty,1500 lbs capacity

or

b=34" wide by 43" outside, tough plastic dump bed ohio steel 1250lb capacity,16" tall 8"wide.with pass through axle 12" clearance......wieghs 120 lbs

only thing is a=the first one on the list is wider than my 4wheeler which is 41" wide,so it will be little difficult to go thro woods maybe.and b= would be great,just wish it was a little wider,but is $100 bucks less................................

any thoughts....thankyou so much:msp_smile:

thanks i leaning that way on a,but like both,wish a was narrower or b wider:msp_rolleyes:

i wouldnt pull that much of a load witha fourwheeler

well not sure i pull that much,thats just the trailer/carts rated weight.my thing is more of the size of the cart,which is what i stumped on.but i have pulled a empty 16' dual axle trailer without strain,but was in driveway.lol

sorry it a 425 polaris magnum,high and low range,and low is low.4x4....and i never know sometimes i pull in woods,or maybe in a yard or in a field,just never know where the wood takes me:)

I have a 4x9 car trailer that has 33"x12" tires on it and I sometimes pull it "loaded" round the property with wood behind the honda quad, similar specs to yours....
I would say the most important thing is tire size and width, where the weight of the load wont make it sink in soft ground.... any of the trailer sizes in your question above will be easily pulled by your 4x4... Depending on tire width.... mine must weigh close to 2000 pounds loaded, low tongue weight though with most of the load on the trailer axle....

guess i wandering about ground clearance,one has 12" other say 10" maybe,one has pass thru axle.the other is solid

and fitting between tress.which i guess 15 inches wider wouldnt be to bad

Agreed with Gavman... please take into consideration where you'll be using the cart or trailer before investing. If it's too long/too wide you won't be able to maneuver it in the woods. If the tires are narrow they'll sink under a load and you won't be able to pull it.

Ohio Steel offers a decent heavy-duty, welded metal dump cart with wide turf tires. It's pricey but you're getting a quality product you can pull with a quad.

I use a garden tractor to tow it:

Hope it helps. :)

This is probably a little bigger than what you are looking for. I pull it with my little John Deere 265 lawn tractor. A four wheeler would pull it easily, and it is roadable. The deck is 4' X 5', so it is kinda wide. I see old ones like mine sell for under $200. I got lucky and my Dads neighbor gave this one to me, Joe.
