Techlite doesn't make one. The Sugihara group buy on AS turned out to be a bust. Oregon used to make
a 24" Pro Lite 3/8 .050 but it's longer available. ( No replies to my post looking for one )
The Tsumura light bars are only available in .058 not .050

Anyone have any other ideas for a lightweight 24" 3/8 .050 Husky Large Mount Bar ??

Currently have a 28" Techlite bar on my Ported Jonsered 70cc saw but want to try a 24" and would prefer
a lightweight bar.

May just have to get a Total Super Pro Bar made by Tsumura at 3lbs 3.8 oz

Why not use the tsumura light and get several chains at once?

Seems hard to find 3/8 .058 full chisel chain around here. Just used to running the Stihl RS 3/8 .050 which is easy to get.

It may be the best option and just need to look for Stihl 3/8 .058 chain.

These are from Sugihara, came with the bar. And yes it will oil properly. All the adapters do, is effectively increase the diameter of the bar studs. This is accomplished by sliding springs over the base of the stud.

Seems very simple. Wish I would have know that when I placed the order for the Sugihara Light Bar and would have got one for the Stihl mount instead.
Thanks for posting up the picture

I'd like to try those.

For 12 or 15 bucks shipped (cant remember exact price) its a no brainer for me. My Sugi bars didnt come with the rings but I like the ones Homlite makes because they secure with a screw so no chance loosing the adapter if you have to take the bar off in the woods for some reason. I pretty much get all my bars in stihl mount cause they can work both ways. Plus when I win that 461 mastermind worked over I can swap bars from my 372 to it when needed.

That's my 461 thank you:popcorn::popcorn:

Send Homelite410 a PM or started a conversation on AS.

So the Stihl bar with adapter will fit the Husky Large Mount. What about the Husky small mount ? is there an adapter as well ?

Must have been mistaken as I read a couple of posts where they said the adapters did not allow the bar to oil well but must have been for something other than a Stihl bar to large Husky mount.

Thanks again for all the help.

Now to see if weedeaterman has the Sugihara light bar in 24" stihl mount

No adapter that I know of for the husky small mount to go from large mount.

I don't think the oiler holes are some none even remotely close!

here is what it looks like on a 350 husky.

Thats the exact set up I have on my 372, got the bar from weedeaterman on the first run. Hopefully he has some left.

Ok, payment has been sent to Homelite410 for the adapter. Conversation has been started with weedeaterman for a 24" Sugihara light bar, already checked e-bay but they only have a 28" bar listed and even
sent an e-mail to HEVI, LTD as well looking for the bar. Wish weedeaterman had told us all it required was a small spacer to make the 24" Stihl bar work. Hopefully I can track that bar down.
Can't believe it has been so difficult to find a 24" lightweight bar to fit that large mount. Almost was tempted to leave the 28" techlite bar on the ported 70cc Jonsered but I know a 24" bar is what will work best
for all round work with the saw.

Thanks again to everyone for all their help.
