Early 30s, though my Doc says my back has more arthritis than someone who is 70.

I would seriously suggest a job change, quick, if in the logging/woodsman industry. Imagine how your back would be in 20 yrs?? Hope you do well, but I'd try my damnedest to get out of the physical work of the trade.

My work isn't very physical. About the hardest thing I do is stack firewood at times, though normally my hired hands do that.

Mostly I push and pull levers to make equipment do something.

If I sit at the desk for more than a few hrs to do paperwork I can barely walk and my back is killing me. I have to stay moving around and doing something to keep the pain reasonable.

I broke my back in 2010, I've pretty well figured out what I can and can't do.
Looking to put in a TENS soon, I hope that will help things.

As I told a fellow one night when he ask me why I carried, I said I was to old to run. At 71 I can run, but not far and not very fast.
