BothA creamsicle right Chris.
I built this saw from scratch starting with NOS cases. Most parts on the saw are new, OEM. I forget if I bought the cylinder new or used. It's definitely OEM. The piston is either OEM or Meteor. I wouldn't use anything else. The model plate was custom made by myself. Yes it has a carb upgrade. No secrets here.I wonder why there is a blue choke lever, but a side mounted decomp button? I suppose one possibility is that it has a 390XP carb upgrade when Brad did the port job. I can't tell from the blurriness in the photo, and the bottom of the side label is cropped out, but it looks like a recent x-torq saw serial plaque (which would explain why the plastics look so clean). If that is the case it would make more sense that the original engine got burned up and the jug and top cover were replaced (which would explain the missing labels on top) by a pre-xtorq cylinder/piston. I wonder if it is all OEM, or if it is a AM piston?

Don't let him run it, he'll be doomed, just like your going to be..a buddy I work with is so excited. he's been a tree guy for 15+ years and has never run a modified saw. He has always been curious but never pulled the trigger. This might be the push he has needed.
They sure will lolDon't let him run it, he'll be doomed, just like your going to be..
I know you don't know what I mean now, but you'll understand soon enough....lol
