hi i have a question what are the part numbers for the stihl adapters that test the crank case pressure. i dont want to buy the whole kit for 475 bucks.
You can make them you dont need to spend a lot of money , what saw and post pics of the intake side and the exhaust.hi i have a question what are the part numbers for the stihl adapters that test the crank case pressure. i dont want to buy the whole kit for 475 bucks.
Well the way to do those would be make not to thick metal plates for the exhaust ports drill holes to bolt on ,use an inner tube from a bike or what ever to seal as a gasket between. As for the intake you buy another one then take the old one fill up the top area with silicone careful not to get the mounting area at the bottom gooped up or you will not be able to seal and just put that on and it will seal nicely. Then you need a miti vac 8500 tester that will do vac and pressure.stihl 028 stihl 031 stihl 041 the first pic is the 041 the other two pics are of the 028.
What do you mean tube air?ok thanks. now when i put pressure on the 041 crankcase tube air just flows into the crankcase is that normal.
Well get a spray bottle with soapy water keep pushing air as you spray and look for the leak it could be the block off plates the seals the base gasket or the plug is the flywheel off and the clutch so you can see the seals? Do you have it blocked at the intake and exhaust already?i mean the the tube that goes from the crankcase to the carburater. i push air into the crankcase but it doesnt hold pressure.
