loud pipes save lives
I know crispa has one with a orange tank. But he don't have the stupid lazy crapsman block. I'm not proud to say it's powered by crapsman. I'd rather have the true poulan wildthing block in it
I built a 3.7/3700 for the FIL that's wearing red, grey, and green parts on purpose and a banana nose 20" bar.I know crispa has one with a orange tank. They pop up just south of the border from you fairly often.
If you see anything in the Spokane area you are interested in, I'm always willing to help.
That is if Nate doesn't beat me to it lol
Good point Shawn But then of course we would probably have to drive up and deliver it and drink some of that Canadian beer!
Silverwood is 5 minutes away from my house.Sounds good guys. I'll keep an eye open for the 3400's with the chain brakes. This might be the summer for a trip to Silverwood anyways. A little cross-border chainsaw consortium perhaps.

TThis is the oldest saw we got and my dad use to run it. Ran all day off of one gallon, of water.

Enjoying all the eye candy in here of late. Haven't seen a local Poulan since I picked up my 3000 the middle of last year. And, I'd be more likely to spot the Ogopogo or Elvis before a big Counter Vibe in these parts.
Here is the one that got me started.

Trade a sign for it?Wasn't someone here looking for a western auto branded s25cva?
Filthy but complete. Only problem is a busted front lower AV mount. Fired up on a prime.

Well, I measured my 335 cylinder and it came to 36.3 mm. That was stretching it. Now I wonder if a 3450 piston will work? That's much closer to my PP330. Guess a 3450 kit will work esp. Seeing as how both cylinders are chrome.

Here is another Poulan Pro with a Canadian flavor PP455, 72cc, 24" bar. Not quite as nice as the 655, but runs well. This size saw should see more use though. Needs decals. I have not seen any for the 455
Gregg,
@redunshee
46.3mm right. Here's my "hope it works option" if you are not going to use the saw that much. How bad is the scoring on the piston? The rings, poulan 530030176, are only $3 and available.
I pick up a 2300 that was scored and did not want to dump much more money in it, so cleaned up the p/c and put in a new ring. It probable does not have the greatest compression but it cut wood.
Craftsman 3.3/3300 piston 530069547 = Poulan 3450 piston 530069547 , PP335 piston 53001098 ( basically the same saw as craftsman 3.3 or 3300)
From what I am seeing - all are replaced by 530071321 which is the PP330. = all 54cc saws and the same piston.
