I'm doing a Husky 350 now, and this is the first time I've been all the way into the bottom of one. When I was cleaning the cylinder I smoothed out the sharp edges in the lower transfers and opened them up to where the imprint of the gasket was. That is all that I did to the cylinder. The muffler will be opened a little and the timing advanced, and a popup 353 piston used. Will it really do much if I do the same on the bearing cup? What about the little divider that mates to nothing on the cylinder?
