Right on, Thall.

They already have a factory where labor is veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy costly, been there since 1974, its called the VA BEACH factory located in Virginia. Its only one of what will soon be 8 huge factories around the world. The Va Beach is only covers a mere 77 acres. Oddly RB these same folks boo hooing about oh Stihl will get cheap labor in China are the same ones that boo hoo Stihl's cost so much. I find it odd Husky hasn't built a factory in Virginia, the highest place to operate in the country. Does Husky have a factory in America anywhere? I won't count Shreveport since its a Poulan factory owned by E-lux, not Husky though alot of orange comes out of it. I note as well the Va Beach has created 2000 american jobs done by americans. How many americans work at the Husky plant, any?, anyone know, enlighten us please, wink!!!

If you manufacture products here with American machinists, you'll have to pay a little more for those products. I don't mind paying what I paid for the Stihl saws I have.
I've since forgotton what I've paid for them.:)
When I'm using them, what I paid doesn't even cross my mind.
So, I'm glad I bought Stihl instead of the available "Orange Poulans".

Mitch

How can you not count poulan. "reality check" And there are huskys made in the U.S.A.
There is more then one way to Run a business. can you say Subsidiaries.
Look I like Stihl products Too. these debates only get people going.
You say Stihl is #1 but you don't want to face the facts that Husky produces more saws.
It's all how you want to look at it.

I like these debates Manual, why the hell ya think I help start them,:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

Back to topic though it is you my friend that uses the excuse approach for Husky, Poulan, Mac and lord knows who all as the biggest producer of saws. You bunch them all together and make the claim they produce more saws than Stihl, I say hog wash. Name for name no one comes close to Stihl in production or in sales, thats a fact. Secondly I've yet to see Husky ever claim they sell more than Stihl, if they did I'm sure they would advertise it. Thirdly you spoke of cheap labor. Do you realize Stihl is the only saw maker that makes its own bars and chains. Everyone else including Husky buy theirs from Oregon becasue its cheaper for them to buy them than make them, other words cost effective. So how come they can get by with that without a word from you but when Stihl invests in another country to build their own you holler cheap labor. Now explain that one ya hardheaded sucker, I shall kindly wait for your sincere reply, hehehehe

I swear I'm gonna separate you two!!

No way, don't separate us now. I got him to round five and I figure by round 7 he'll be carried out on a stretcher. Heck my manager said not to hit him hard, only jab him since the fans love it,:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

Ya, Ya. Name for name, We can go on with this for ever and we properly will.
I know you know what a Subsidiarie is so go wash your hog.
yes they also use Oregon chains, why because Oregon makes more chains then Stihl, So they gots to be good.
Yes husky springs do break, and you know as well as I do that Stihl Springs wear out and start to streach.that is why Stihl puts a cable In between there AV springs. So when you pick up you saw the engine and bar are not stihl on the ground.:biggrinbounce2:

Check this out, look what you get after you remove the cable.:hmm3grin2orange:

Glad you like it Stan!!!!!!

Hmmm this could be a challenge.
I have to think about this,
The saw was pretty new when Ultra got it, He said it did not run good,
Then you got it did some porting on it, Said it ran better and was impressed now you say your not so impressed with the saw.
Hmmm, My mind is racing on this challenge.
Ok I have two saws I am working on let me finish them and we can talk.

Ok Manual, heres the deal, it ran "OK" when I got it, tweaked and tweaked it, never was really happy. Tore it down twice to mod it, It ran a lot better. Had to cut the limiters off so I could lean it out even after the mods! I was happier.
Then I wnet on my bender and did the same mods to the 350. The 350 outcuts the 346. So now I am unhappy again. Long story short

Brother Andrew I never question your opinion but did you just write that you saw a 200T outcut your 346? Is that a typo or are you serious?? However if a 200T is outcutting your 346 I would say something is wrong with your 346. I'm no Husky fan, never have been, all look the same to me, square box with a hump on top, but fair is fair, a 200T should not outcut that 346. You sure you got that carb set right on your 346?? I remember you had a helluva time getting it adjusted to run pretty good. May want to check those adjustments again...

Dayuum' there is a small strip of solid orange on that cream and orange heart. Maybe a little red and black too.

Shucks Lou I got no problem with 346's, 372's or any other Huska-varny for that matter. I do like taunting Manual though, he and I have been at it for a long long time about who's the KING and since STIHL is the KING he has to lay in bed with HUSKA-VARNY and only dream of being the KING,:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:
