Does a grinder need any serial numbers or a VIN number, for insurance coverage? We purchased a grinder from a private party, and the selling party called the insurance company to have the grinder put on my coverage. I'm not seeing a serial number on the insurance policy. Just trying to cover my ass.

Your insurance agent will be a much better source than anyone here for information regarding what details are required for a piece of equipment to be covered under your policy.
