If you read the entire thread you'll see how it's pointed out that the hp is deceptive because it's a European saw mfg and the #'s are different but still a great saw[emoji106]

Yes I did read it in full and a few others. I really don’t need another medium saw and especially not a vintage one but I just want them :omg:

It was a 133 but I didn’t buy it. Started and ran well but the chain wouldn’t rest on idle (carb rebuild or clutch spring or just crud in the clutch drum) and the chain brake worked but wouldn’t hold the chain with throttle slightly engaged. Also no Dolmar livery had survived, the bar was non-original (obvs from the pics) and the chain was shite. I’ve enough to do without another saw to rebuild so put my grown up pants on and walked away

You are a Stihl addict.

Start easy...buy a Husky first.
I can’t argue, Stihl has always been the easy and sensible choice for me.
My experience with their current saws (362cms, 201tcs) and their relative expense has changed things, I’m looking for alternatives when it’s timw to get new. Currently need a new 65cc ish saw to run a 20” bar, looking at Echos and Makitas as we speak :reading:
Having said that, I still love my 084, 261 and when I finish it I’ll prob fall in love with the 038 again.
Husqvarna...nah can’t do that to myself :crazy2:
