20 what? Those are way wrong and may not seat against the bore correctly even with the ends filed back. 62814 is the OEM ring set. Caber also makes a set.

His website says. 62814=62813 I just thought the part number just changed when I ordered them.
After researching after I got them they should be .20 oversize but they look a heck of a lot bigger than .20.
I could not find a direct fit for the caber rings but would a 44.7 x 1.2 fit.
The rings I took out are pretty worn and have like .090 end gap.

As long as the rings are the right width, you can fix that end gap. With a file and patience, take a bit off the end and test. Repeat until the endgap is correct. Dont get in a hurry, you can take off but you cannot add it back on.

Sorry for the poor pic. The end of the ring is on top of the other end at least 1/8 inch.
I have a ring grinder but think it is too much to take off.

I am not sure who "he" is but 62814 is the standard bore, 62813 is the 0.020" over ring set. 62812 is 0.030" over.

Randy’s engine repair, the listing is not accurate in my opinion For the 10-10a Rings.
I paid top dollar thinking I was getting the right rings, Which I don’t mind paying if the parts are correct.
I have called at least a dozen times and left messages a few times to get this resolved.
I have not got a reply from him.

I found rings for the mac 73 they are for a 1956 British Ford Anglia, I'll recut the ring grove. 012 wider and that will true the grove. This will give me a extra 2 sets. Best way I could find and for 17.00 bucks.
Anything is better than what I had.

Are you the guy who has the info on crank seals? I could've swore I've seen you recommend SKF seals for certain 10 series saws.. I'm looking for cross referenced seals for PTO and Flywheel side (2) of a Super Pro 125.. Can you help me out?

For the FW side seals. (Most metric seals are rubber coated which are actually better than steel case)

-F/W inner seal: 57898. Crosses to Metric seal 17X30X5 Timken makes one PN National 17X30X5.

-F/W outer seal: 57897. NOT SURE OF SEAL SIZE BUT I think it's 17X30X3 I was not able to find an alternate supplier of the seal


PTO seal: 104432 or 104486. SKF 6640. Confirmed correct The seal is a standard 17X35X7 metric seal

I'm not sure why two seals are required on the FW side but I suspect the outer seal is to stop any oil migration into the points box.
I replaced the inner seal, FW side and the PTO side seal on my CP125. I did not replace the outer seal.

Any one know the bar mount pattern for a Mac250? Acres says it uses .404 chain, but this one has a 16" original Mac bar and .375 chain(measured)... I would stay with .375 bar/chain if I can find a longer bar...

I've got a mystery saw that I hope someone here can help to identify.I got it back in Feb.in a truck load of saws deal.It came out to $4.25 for each saw & the DE80 & Super 6-10 were in the deal too.The recoil is missing & the AF cover too.

Should have a stamp on the crankcase with the model number.

I looked on the bottom of the saw for a model stamped into it,but I didn't see anything.I looked briefly,tomorrow I'll look more in depth.Something else to note-it's seized.

Done a little MAC cutting today, Bad arm and all. I cut this stump down to a manageable size with the PM800. Bucked up some of the small stuff with the PM10-10S.

It's off more pressure and heat, it came off with a bang

LOL this reminded me of a facilities guy that was telling me about replacing pitman arms on dump trucks. He said they hose them down with penetrating oil and crank down on the puller with an impact, and then go do something else. After an hour or two, you hear a loud bang and the arm and puller have popped off are laying on the floor

That's what I was going to suggest too, it has the early style tank, the external points box, and an angled plug. 80ccs. Has the wrong muffler on it.
