Is that actually a 66? I have an OE '1992 model and that rear cover is nothing like that...and, I've never seen an older 66 that looked like that. looks more like an 064 with an 066 plastic front end. Is that red light even connected to anything?

The European 066 rarely came with the Hd set up.

Appears to be a period correct early 066 by the non see-through tank so that air filter is correct.

Wess, you can't swap the metal flywheel for a poly, if it's a red light it's limited and metal flywheel.

How long is the bar?
does anyone know how this would do on a Granberg mill? I’ve found some info on a “regular” 066 but the “red light” may require some other considerations? Parts avail, design differences with the flywheel, etc...?

Does the red light still work?

I had one of these a while back. Worked great. Red light was jury rigged and did not work though. Red light 066 is an early model, just up from the 064. Metal flywheel and early coil. Typically the original coils go out, and hence the missing red light function as that takes another wire from the factory coil and ligts up when the saw is being rev limited.

The 064/066 coil/flywheel options are as follows in the service bulletin with cereal numbers
