I love the soft or squishy handles on the 8500's.

I'm just the opposite. Thankful like anything else, we have plenty of choices.

I didnt care for the foam handles on 8500 and 4000. Prefer the ribbed handles on 5400 and last 4000 I did I replaced handle with rubber covered 3400 handle.

It’s a Poulan weekend here. I’m all alone out collecting firewood for my mother in law today. I really do like the 4000 but it is thirsty….. and, I really feel bad using it like this, it’s not a museum piece, but I would rather just have a little fun with it instead of risk something happening to it out in the woods.

If it means that much to ya. Put it up and just get another for use. But IMO use it.

3700 3400 4000 right here waiting on locals to need one.

Nice line up! I feel the struggle. I use mine but in a way I hope they last forever. Funny how a.fella can get attached to magnesium if it's in the right form!!

Hey nick 55 is that a 2000 in the trailer? I seen the top handle and thought it looked like one I have. Be Safe!

An S25DA with a different clutch cover. I didn’t end up using it at all, the tree I was cutting up was 28-30” in diameter.

Also, for those of you that do Amazon and like good deals, I found an Oregon 20” bar and chain combo for the 4000 for $30.

Limited-time deal: Oregon Chainsaw Guide Bar & Chain Combo, AdvanceCut Replacement for Saw Chains, with Low Kickback Chain, Bar Length 20" (50cm), 3/8" Pitch, 0.050" Gauge, 70 Drive Links (27850) https://a.co/d/ddCoVBX

Pulled thePR 4218 out the other day to trim some limbs for the youngest deer stand. Pulled the handle 3 times and got a pop and threw it in the back of the truck.Got to the deer stand and after pulling on it a dozen times with no luck I give up.The thing was pouring fuel out muffler so I figured the carb crapped out. I haven’t run the saw since changing all fuel lines, then I thought about the spark plug. Luckily I bought 2 when I changed one on the string trimmer. I should have changed it when I changed the fuel lines:dumb: Its all good now:chainsaw: Y’all Be Safe!

It gets down in the 20's F, that too cold for me now days. Have rode atv's and have ice covering us from being stupid and riding through creeks. Sorry if I made you spit your coffee, that's the worst thing to do. At least it didn't go out your nose.
