Yes, and back to that now that my Dangerous Game Rifle intermission is over.

Is anyone familiar with the woodmizer LT15's production capabilities? Can it pump out 2000 a day?
No.
Maybe occasionally you'd get 1,500 in ideal logs, I'd say 1000 would be a very good day, with average being more like 700-800.
Woodmizer is VERY optimistic with their advertised bf per hour.
With my LT-40 In very good logs I can cut 1500 board feet of 2x lumber in 7 hours with a good helper man..... average is more like 1,100 in 7 hours, and I'm not slow....just honest.

I love your system. Wish I had it. It would save me a step or two. Just drive up to my covered patio and set it down. When empty, go get another one.
That tractor is definitely one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Worth every Penny and has definitely paid for itself.

Went back to the shop this morning and took the carb apart on the 365 again and my dumbass had put the one screen side back in wrong. Corrected that and it fired right up third pull and is running like a champ. Heading to the wood pile with it now to put it to the test.
I never do **** like that, lol

Well, ok...maybe only once...a day...

I really wanted a 416 Ruger when I bought mine but Ruger doesn'y offer a factory left hand 416 so I bought the 375. I was going to send it out and have it bored out but it just shoots too dang good.

My handloads push the 250gn Barnes 250gn TTSX at about 2850 from the 20" barrel.

Those big cartridges have too much recoil for me, besides I've never hunted or killed anything more dangerous than a brown bear, so a properly loaded 30-06 is all I ever needed.

That's kinda like spilling coffee on yourself and then complaining to the coffeeshop...🙄
How do you equate that . The tool should be made to withstand an over strike it’s a splitting axe

Well if the coffee shop gave me a defective cup with a lifetime warranty then yes I would

Another tree guy I know does have his own mill and a firewood processor. He only runs the processor when they don’t have any tree jobs, Not sure how much he runs the mill. However he was running for re election as one of our county commissioners and he told me he made every 4x4 and 2x4 for his signs. That is very cool to have that ability. Maybe when this red oak comes down I’ll inquire about his services. That tree is 36-40” DBH I’d guess, nothing but a straight trunk until the fork at about 30’.
I have a good friend that has a tree service down around Waldorf and South. I was fourth generation in the family and Rodney passes my criteria as one of the safest climbers I've worked with. We had a very big customer base in Potomac, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and DC. In the 15 years I worked with Dad we never had a single day without work. We had days we couldn't work because of unsafe weather, but we never had a day that wasn't scheduled. That's why I always say we hated firewood. We had a Farmers Market we would whole sale wood to, and we would dump it in a neighbors yard if the customer didn't want it. Back then we were only getting $100-$150 a cord and we were making $2-$3000 a day in residential tree care. I wanted to put on a lawn division and get a processor and sell wood in the winter. Dad would say, "Why would I buy a truck and processor to make $4-$500 a day, When I can buy the same truck and a chipper and make $2-$3000 a day?" Plus, we only had a 5 acre lot. Dad was making around $750,000 a year back in the 80's. Just think how much wood and storage space you would need to season it, to make $750,000 a year on wood alone now?

What size JD is that? I have clamp on forks for my China Loader and I would be happy if I had pre made 1/4 cord racks I could move with it. Being clamp on forks it puts the weight way forward.
