HELLP!!!
Anyone live near Kahoka, MO? I bid on a pile of 250 Savage brass and got it cheap. Just looked at my invoice and now I see why it sold cheap. NO SHIPPING. If some one could pick it up for me I'll hook you up some way. It's at 375 South Johnson, Kahoka, MO. I'm going to pay for it today. If no one can get it for me, I'll see if they will resell it for me. Thanks Joe.
All's well that ends well. After taking a bit of a lecture on the description was clearly marked "no shipping", and me agreeing I missed it first time around. I asked if they could put it in a box and I would send UPS with a pre paid label to pick it up she said ok. Just wait a couple days, they were busy right now.

Yes witbier is wheat based and is usually spiced with coriander or orange peel and other spices . Another I have brewed are Saison .
Mark, have you heard anything from Multifaceted? He brewed some wicked IPA's. I lost his cell number in my cell crash. He works just a few miles from me. I'll have to drop in and see if I can get his number.

Haven’t conversed with him

Someone called me today and wants to give me two dead saws.

They are just little guys.

A 088 and a 066!

He also wants me to make his 044 run stronger!

I told him to call me after tax season!

I already have a dead (early model) 880 I have not touched yet, with a 41" 404 B+C. It has the 088 style aluminum muffler with the spring clips.

Hopefully, I'll have time to get to some saw projects this year!

Probably too small for you to bother with. Just send them to me. :dancing:

So Rolling Stone is condemning the far right for boycotting Anheuser-Busch, Kid Rock is blasting 12-packs with a 12-gauge, and I'm sitting at home after a hard day with my feet propped up tossing back a couple of Anheuser's finest. Personally, I've got better things to do than worry about any of that b.s.
To each his own. We aren't trying to tell you what to do. Just letting people know what is going on. Some of us get very tired and frustrated by all the ways the devil is trying to destroy our country.

Dang! I wish I had friends like that!

The "Art" of scrounging on the way from work.
Rolled up on the scrounge... A leprechaun ran out and said " give me beer, shut up, run the saw". When I shut off the saw, the trailer looked like this.. Gonna take more beer back again. yuk, yuk

Here’s one…
anyone know, offhand, the specs on the tiny O ring that goes on the L screw on a Walbro WG12A from a 880 Stihl?
I have 3 sets of o rings but nothing that small. Looks like 1-1.5mm ID and 3mm OD.

Screw it...
I ordered a couple 'tiny' O ring kits from Az...gotta be one that works in those, lol
If not, I'm out $30 🤣

I made some maple candied bacon and maple bbq sauce tonight that I will use to make lunch for the guys at work on Friday. My plan is venison burgers topped with the bacon, some habanero cheese and drizzled with the maple bbq sauce. I'm thinking salty, sweet and a little spicy.14448c3185187c2a38213f11384287fb.0.jpgThe bacon is freaking delicious. I hope it lasts until Friday!🤣

I'm looking for a wedge driving axe/hatchet. Looking for recommendations. I know I could search this in other parts of the forum, but this is the thread where I spend most of my time, and I kind of "know" you guys, so I value your opinions more than somebody that I'm not familiar with in other threads. That's why I'm asking here.

I'm not looking for a splitting axe, as I already have some ancient model laying around in my garage, and barely use it. But just something to carry with me to the woodpile, or into my woods to drive wedges when needed.

I looked at the Stihl brand so far, and they've gotten terrible reviews, mostly for split handles. What do you guys suggest I look at, Fiskars maybe?
I use a 6lb sledge. I've watched literally hundreds of felling videos and see guys whacking a wedge with an axe but never see anyone use the axe for anything else. Axe makes a crappy hammer. I have saws for cutting brush and limbs. When cutting trees, I take that hammer and a large wrecking bar. I've found that combo comes in handy.

The bacon is easy.
1 pound thick cut bacon
1/2 cup real maple syrup
1 tablespoon coarse ground mustard
Turbinado sugar
Preheat oven to 400
Mix mustard and maple syrup.
Put bacon on some type of elevated screen/rack in roasting pan. Brush first side with syrup mixture. Place in oven and cook for about 15 minutes until almost crispy. Flip bacon over and coat with syrup. Cook for another 5 minutes until it's as crispy as you like. Remove from oven and sprinkle top side with turbinado sugar to create a candied coating.

The bbq sauce recipe was from a cooking website. There's hundreds of variations, I picked one that looked good. Here's the link.
