I know this has been posted about before but it may have been missed and i didnt get to see pix so i thot i would and practise inserting images.
This has got to be the easiest muffler ever.
one screw and two nuts and it comes apart.
as has been said when drilling be carefull the bit dont grab and go out the back of the muffler !!

I can't tell that well, but if the edges are not smooth, ream the outer edge of the drilled hole so that's it's more smooth for optimum flow.

I forgot to add in about cleaning it up and smoothing and such,.also about making SURE no metal scrap,chips,filings,burs,etc..left inside the muffler..

For sure, make sure it's clean inside of shavings. I clean mine with hot water (be careful!) and soap to get rid of the oil and whatever shavings are stuck to it. And then I pressure wash it like there's no tomorrow.
