Got a friends non-running 452 echo saw to run pretty good now. But how in the world do you get to any of the fuel lines on this thing. Used forceps to get to the fuel filter to replace it, but noticed there wasnt enough fuel line to even come out of the tank opening. I just have a feeling it will need new fuel lines and a carb rebuild down the road. Couldnt even get the recoil side off after taking out the 3 side bolts. Any info on this thing?

You have to remove the recoil starte assy to get access to your fuel line. You gonna see a plastic block with two bolts you have to remove to reach the fuel line inside the tank. You have to remove air filter also to remove your starter.

You can get a FREE parts manual from Echo online, link below. Yes you need to remove the recoil assembly. Your fuel line is prob melted or soft from the cheap gas over the years. That was a big problem 20 years ago which was when yours was made. We had to get a case of fuel lines flown over from Japan in about 1979....Bob
