    Where’d the other ring go? 009L 1120 series

    It runs — don’t know how with ~30 - 45psi compression. New piston is on the way — the cylinder looks okay to me… but seriously WHERED the ring go??

    Stihl 010av and 009L carby

    Hi all, Looking for the default carby numbers for the two saws listed in the title. I understand that there could be generations so the 010 I think is a Zama and the 009L is a Walbro. Although with 20 plus years on the saws I have they could have been switched somewhere along the lines? Cheers...

    so im trying to get this old stihl 009 working properly it has good compression and the cylinder and piston look decent im not sure what model it is exactly cos im in aus and there seems to be variation on the clutch covers.... ill post pics soon but can anyone advise me on how to reassemble the...
