064 cold weather kit

i am rebuilding an 064 ..do i need to use the cold weather kit.it is new in the bag with the 2 piece air cleaner and the cover kit for the side of the starter.i looks nice being new and all.the saw will be a back up to my 044,with a 32 inch bar.maybe some milling.so if i do not need it. sell it or put it on a 066?k

I don't think it's necessary myself. The coldest temp I ever ran a saw at was -20*F, and my saw didn't run out of the ordinary at all.
