is that red pine your sawing there? how does it work, usually they tend to seep out the pitch even after they are stained and such.

This is Pondorosa Pine. Plenty of pitch when handling fresh cut lumber and logs, it dries and hardens real fast and staining can be a problem sometimes but mostly its OK.
