18" Forester Bar to fit Dolmar PS-7900

I'm new to this forum, so hey from Tennessee!

I just bought a Dolmar PS-7900, which is a very nice chainsaw.

I'd like to get a Forester bar 18" for occasional use, but there's nothing listed on the Forester website for Dolmar. I have a Husqvarna 28" bar and chain on it now, which it came with. As a general rule, do Husqvarna guidebars and chains work with my Dolmar? I've read good things on this website about Forester bars. Not so much about their chains.

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome. You need a large mount Husky bar = Oregon D009. Any brand D009 will work. I have a new 18" .058 Tiger Pro bar that can had cheaply. PM if interested.
