Welcome to the site. I'm moving your thread into the Trading Post section of the forum, specifically into the Chainsaw parts subsection for visibility.
Good luck locating a fully functional chain brake, they are getting harder to find and when they come up they comand some good money. The 2100/2101 and 298 Husqvarna chain brakes will fit your 285 as well so dont overlook those in your search.
