Hi all,
I need some help removing the flywheel from my 335. Is there any trick to get it off. I've been trying to hold the wheel with the nut loosened just a little (about a 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch) and pound on the center with a punch but it just won't budge. The saw just keep slipping out of my hand as I wack it. Thanks for any advice...........Jason

Hold it straight up and down and put something to support the off side. Hit down on one side and the taper will force the flywheel off. Do not strike the flywheel magnets as a sharp blow can cause them to lose magnetisim. Mike

The problem I have is how to support the back side of the flywheel as the cylinder and the plastic housing is in the way. Am I missing something??
